Paul Smith, PsyD.
President
Dr. Paul Smith was born in the parish of Manchester and spent his early years in Trelawny. He is married with two children and serves as a Counselling Psychologist in private practice at Ward Mount Medical Centre in Mandeville. He holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California Southern University and has a particular interest in working with individuals on the schizophrenia spectrum as well as in advancing men’s mental health.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Smith is the Manager of the Educational Assessment and Intervention Centre at Church Teachers’ College, Mandeville. He also serves as a Justice of the Peace, Minister of Religion, Marriage Officer, and Motivational Speaker. Guided by the principles of servant and transformational leadership, he is deeply passionate about service and empowerment. His philosophy is anchored by the mantra, “If I can help somebody as I pass along, then my living will not be in vain.”
