Dr. Austin Wright
North Eastern Regional Representative
I am Rev. Dr. Austin George Alphonso Wright, a trained educator with over thirty-eight (38) years of experience in education and extensive experience in both counselling practices and academic research. I am dedicated to advancing the field of psychology in Jamaica and have a strong commitment to improving mental health services in the region.
I aim to serve as a Regional Representative on the Jamaican Psychological Society Executive Council to advocate for better resources, support professional development, and foster collaboration among psychologists. My goal is to ensure that our society remains responsive to the needs of our members and the communities we serve.
